SoldThe People Behind the Process
Two dedicated partners. One shared commitment to exceptional service across the East Bay and beyond.
Shalene is a dedicated and caring real estate professional who provides excellent service and peace of mind throughout the buying or selling process. She began her career at Oakland's first woman-owned real estate company, Wells Bennett Realtors, where she ranked among the top ten agents from 2008–2010. Since joining Corcoran Icon Properties in 2011, she has consistently been among the top producing agents company-wide, specializing in residential and residential income property.
Originally from the Midwest, Shalene grew up in Santa Cruz and earned a degree in Ecology/Biology from San Francisco State University. She has lived in the East Bay since 2000 and currently resides in the Piedmont neighborhood of Oakland with her dog, son, and husband Cortt, who owns and operates Awaken Cafe Roasting in Downtown Oakland.

Before embarking on his real estate career, Michael started out as an administrative assistant at a local mortgage bank and worked his way to VP of Sales before the age of 25. Given his interest in architecture, design, and negotiation, selling homes was the next step. He joined Caldecott Properties in early 2006 and has been a top producer ever since with well over $134+ million in real estate sales.
Michael is an East Bay native who grew up in Pleasanton and has lived in Oakland since 2000. He holds a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute with a special interest in art and technology, sculpture, and relational aesthetics. Outside of real estate, he enjoys collecting art, design, and comic books, snowboarding, drinking too much coffee, and watching and talking about basketball. He lives with his family in Oakland’s Dimond/Laurel district.
Whether you’re trying to sell your property for top dollar, purchase your first home, find an investment, move up in size, or relocate in or out of the area, Michael can assist you with all your real estate needs.
